- Blower Motor Failure

Dirty of Clogged Filters
A furnace filter is meant to collect dirt and remove dust, pet hair and other pollutants from the air. However over time the dust and other debris can clog the filter and cause you furnace to have to work harder to circulate the air throughout your home. This can lead to the furnace wearing our faster and ultimately lead you in need of emergency furnace repair (in the summer time this can also lead to AC failure). It is essential to keep filters clean and have your furnace inspected annually to ensure you keep warm all winter long.
Broken Thermostat
Just like any part in your furnace the thermostat can wear out or become decalibrated over time causing your furnace not to fire or to fire too often. This can lead to inconsistencies in home temperature or to a complete furnace failure.
Pilot Light Failure
The pilot light is the essential part of the furnace in that it provides the small flame necessary for ignition. If the pilot light goes out the furnace will not ignite and the home will be left in the cold. Note: DO NOT attempt to re-light your own pilot light as this is extremely dangerous.
Electric Ignition Failure
Just like any part in your furnace the thermostat can wear out or become decalibrated over time causing your furnace not to fire or to fire too often. This can lead to inconsistencies in home temperature or to a complete furnace failure requiring emergency furnace repair.
Blower Motor Failure
You can have the most efficient furnace on the planet but it will be useless unless the hot air can be circulated throughout your home. The blower motor is solely responsible for keeping the air moving and without it your home will be not stay warm. This can lead to the need for emergency furnace repair. Be sure to keep your filters cleaned and, if necessary, have your ducts cleaned.

Fuel Supply Problems
Most furnaces today run on natural gas for residential and urban areas and oil for rural populations. As the oil in rural areas needs to be delivered this is often the reason why the furnace is not heating the house. In the gas of natural gas furnaces a supply issue may be detected by our technicians.
